Enter your hotel's electricity consumption in kWh for a period of one month based on your bills. The calculator calculates the carbon footprint based on the national energy mix. You can use any reference period you want as long as the other fields are filled in for the same period.

3. Enter water usage per month (cubic meters)

Enter the water consumption of your hotel in a period of one month or another of your choice as long as it is common to all other calculations. The calculation includes the pumping, transport, storage and treatment of water and the value 10.6 corresponds to the literature average. If you believe that the water is transported to your hotel from a source located close to it, then select well or borehole in order to reduce the price. If it is known that desalination is carried out for water treatment, select the corresponding field.

4. Enter solid waste per month(kg)










The production of non-recyclable and recyclable waste in kilograms is entered. In the event that the exact weight is not known, you can calculate as follows: Non-Recycled Waste per Guest Night 0.65 kg/guest night, Recycled Waste per Guest Night = 0.35 kg/guest night. The percentages of paper, glass, plastic metal and organic concern non-recyclable waste. In case you don't know the percentages, you can fill in 35% for paper, 15% for plastic, 5% for metal and 45% for organic.
